Range status update 3/24/2024:

At the March Board meeting your board authorized the next phase of our range improvements.

 After working through several variations of designs with engineers and construction companies, we have decided to move forward with installing baffle systems in Pistol Bay F and The Tin Can Alley. (The next steps in reopening these areas) The design is currently with the windstorm engineer and will be submitted to the City of Friendswood once the engineering stamp is received. Construction will start as soon as possible after the permit is received.  At this point the tentative completion for this phase is around the end of May or first part of June.  We will know more once the permit is issued by the city.

UPDATE  4/24/2024:  Installation of baffles on Bay F has begun. This first bay will be a proof-of-concept for renovating the remaining pistol bays. Based upon the research conducted, including engineering and testing, there is every reason to believe that the operational results of this improvement will more than satisfactory.
