CANCELLED: Steel ChallengeThis match is an all steel competition where the competitor shoots at five steel targets. The order you engage the targets is up to you but one target is designated the stop plate and must be shot last. We shoot 6 different stages with 5 steel targets on each stage. You shoot each stage 5 times and throw out your worst time. Your score is a total of all stages. The stages are easy enough for the first time shoot and still challenging for the more experienced shooter. Come out and test your skills or compete with a friend. The match is open to PSC members and non-members. Math quiz: 6 stages X 5 tries X 5 rounds per = 150 rounds. That's if you never miss. |

Youth Action Pistol League Information SeminarBe sure to use the Group Registration button if you will have 2 or more people in your party. The Youth Action Pistol Leage (“YAPL”) is planning to kickoff again at PSC! This time the format will be markedly different with the creation of true league training and competition. YAPL will be open to all kids between the ages of 12 and 18 years and parents do not have to be members of PSC. So if you have friends or relatives that would like to learn more about YAPL, feel free to bring them to this Information Seminar. The kids will love the new reactive targets. No longer will they just be punching holes in cardboard targets. While competition will be team v. team, all kids will also have their individual scores. The YAPL Season will be September through April with an awards banquet in May. All team competition will include handicap to level the playing field. You can get more in formation in the YAPL Kickoff article on the PSC website, but the full plan will be disclosed in this seminar. So parents, bring the kids and learn all about this exciting new experience your kids will absolutely love! This seminar is information only and you will not be making a committment to participate simply by attending. |

USPSA MatchAre you looking for something fun to do with that new gun you just bought. Are you bored with going to the range and shooting the same boring targets. Come out and join us in one of the fastest growing shooting sports in the country. USPSA shooting has all of the elements of shooting combined in a single match. We have shooting while moving, shooting at moving targets and combine reloads all in a single course of fire. We shoot paper targets and reactive steel targets. You say that you don’t feel comfortable shooting while moving. No problem. You can shoot at your own pace and advance as you learn. We will assign a mentor to help you through the match and become a better shooter. You do not have to be a member of the PSC range or USPSA to shoot the local match. |
