Youth Action Pistol League
The Youth Action Pistol Leage (“YAPL”) is planning to kickoff again at PSC! This time the format will be markedly different with the creation of true league training and competition. YAPL will be open to all kids between the ages of 12 and 18 years and parents do not have to be members of PSC
Purpose
The new Youth Action Pistol League was created to bring an entirely new approach to teaching young people ages 12 to 18 how to safely use and enjoy handguns. Our founder, Charles L. Cotton, describes YAPL as “bringing little league baseball to the shooting sports.” This is a very good analogy as YAPL operations are far more than competitive shooting matches. Major components of YAPL activities are the training/practice sessions designed to teach our Kids to shoot safely and efficiently.
All Match and Event Directors are required to submit a Match Report to the Club Treasurer along with the Non-Member Fee. The Fee is $6.50 and applies to all participants who are not PSC Members. There are three Match Reports available. Two are for Matches/Events that do not use the Club's PayPal Account for collection of match fees. One is Excel and the other is a pdf file. The other Excel version is for those that do use the Club's PayPal Account. (There is no pdf version for those using the Club's PayPal account.) If you use the PayPal Account, you need to contact PSC Chief Instructor Charles Cotton to get the amount of PayPal Fees for your match/event.

All ranges are operating normally, except as may be noted below.
July 7th 8:00AM to 4:00PM: Pistol Bay C reserved for Friendswood Police Dept. training
July 14th8:00AM to 9:00AM: Rifle Range No. 1 reserved for Friendswood Police Dept. training
July 14th 9:00AM to Noon: Pistol Bay C reserved for Friendswood Police Dept. training
All Carbine Variances are permanently cancelled. Only pistol caliber firearms can be fired in Pistol Cells and Pistol Bays.
